The “High-level Graduate” Program is a sub-program of the Chinese Government Scholarship. Based on the principles of “individual application, university recommendation, expert review and merit-based admission”, the program aims to select international students with excellent academic background, professional capability and future development potential. The “High-level Graduate” program is an independent enrollment program of Chinese colleges and universities. In principle, Chinese tutoring is not provided. The duration of scholarship for professional study is consistent with the basic length of schooling, with 3 years for master candidates and 3 years for doctoral candidates.

IV. Application Requirements

1. Non-Chinese citizens in good physical and psychological health.

2. Age, educational background and language requirements:

 ●Applicants for master’s degree should have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree to a Bachelor’s Degree, have excellent academic performance, and be generally under the age of 35;

 ●Applicants for doctoral degree should have a master’s degree oran equivalent degree to a Master’s Degree, have excellent academic performance, and be generally under the age of 40;

 ●Applicants for study for master’s and doctoral degrees in Chinese as the teaching language must acquire the Chinese proficiency of HSK Level 4;

2. Front page of passport, if the validity of the applicant’s current passport does

not meet the requirement (meaning the passport expires before September 2024),

please apply for a new passport before submitting the application;

3. Notarized highest diploma (in Chinese or English). If the applicant is a student, he/she must submit the expected diploma or in-school certificate issued by his/her current school, and confirm that he/she can obtain the diploma and degree certificate before July 30, 2024.

4. Academic transcript (bachelor’s degree or above, in Chinese or English). Transcripts in language other than English must be attached with notarized English translations.

6. Personal statement and research proposal (more than 1,000 words)

7. Two recommendation letters (from professors or associate professors)

8. Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The physical examination results are valid for 6 months.

9. Language proficiency certificate
10. The applicant must submit the certificate of non criminal record within the validity period issued by the local public security organization. The certificate of non criminal record should usually be issued within 6 months before the date of submitting the application.

11. Other supporting documents (such as papers, patents and certificates)

VI. Registration

1. The registration time is September 2024, and the specific time is subject to the AdmissionLetter.

2. Accepted applicants should go to Chinese embassy (consulates) abroad to apply for an entry study (X1) visa by providing ordinary passports, AdmissionLetter and Foreign Students’ Visa Application Form for Study in China, and deal with the enrollment procedures in Anhui Medical University at the time prescribed in the Admission Letter by providing the above materials.

VII. Notes

1. In order to ensure the smooth completion of the application procedure for Chinese Government Scholarship, it is recommended to complete the online registration on China Scholarship Council’s website (https://www.csc.edu.cn/) before March 5, 2024, and pay close attention to your email address and other reserved contact information you have listed in the CSC Application Form;

2. Each applicant may receive the grant for one Chinese Government Scholarship program at most;

3. Scholarship winners are not allowed to change the admission institution after coming to China. In principle, they are not allowed to change their study majors and time limits;
