Anhui Medical University provides diverse scholarships for international students of excellence from all over the world so as to encourage them to study hard and conduct academic research at AHMU. Currently, AHMU offers 3 kinds of scholarship which include Chinese Government Scholarship, Study In Anhui Scholarship and the Scholarship of ASEAN. The scholarship applicants are qualified for scholarship selection only after getting Pre-admission notice of Anhui Medical University. I Introduction

Anhui Higher Education Revitalization Plan has set up Study in Anhui Scholarship in order to attract more foreign students to study and engage in scientific researches in institutions of higher learning, expand the scale of foreign students, improve the management level and teaching quality of international education, and expand the international influence of education in Anhui Province.

II Coverage

1.Doctoral degree student can receive 50000 RMB/year;                                                                2.Master degree student can receive 30000 RMB/year;                                                                            3.Undergraduate student can receive 20000 RMB/year.

III Eligibility

The full-time international students at Anhui Medical University who

1. Have a valid passport;

2. Have a good command of English; All the courses are taught in English. Students should provide the certificate which can prove their English proficiency.

3. Have a valid HSK certificate. Please NOTE that HSK results are valid for only 2 years.

4. For Doctoral degree student, under 45 years old and have two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors;

For Master degree student, under 40 years old and have two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors;

   For Undergraduate student, under 28 years old and must be high school graduates.

5.  Abide by the laws and rules of China and the regulations of the university;

I Introduction

In order to promote the mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges in various fields between China and other countries, the Chinese government has set up a series of scholarship programs to sponsor international students, teachers and scholars to study and conduct research in Chinese universities. The Chinese Government Scholarship programs is under the administration of China Scholarship Council (hereinafter referred to as CSC) with an aim to promote the mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges in various fields between China and other countries.

II Coverage

1.Tuition fee, accommodation fee, insurance fee, textbook fee etc.         

2.Monthly allowance is granted to the students:

RMB 2500 for the bachelor students;

RMB 3000 for the master students;

RMB 3500 for the doctorate students.                                                                            

III Eligibility

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals who have valid passports and are in good health.

2. Education background required and age limit:

    Applicants for master degree studies must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35;

   Applicants for doctoral degree studies must have master’s degree and be under the age of 40.

3. The scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship.

IV Application Procedure

1. Applicant first gets the award letter from China Embassy, which is preferable;

2. Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship. It should be filled in and printed out after submitting online;

The CSC Online Application System for Study in China is available at  https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/register; and AHMU university code is 10366; applicants should upload the following materials, which include:

i. Highest diploma (notarized photocopy);

ii. Transcripts (notarized photocopy);

iii. A study or research plan(no less than 800 words);

iv. Two recommendation letters by professors or associate professors;

v. Passport copy;

vi. Photocopy of foreigner Physical Examination Form (printed by Chinese quarantine authority); Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid.

I Introduction

In response to China’s “Belt and Road” initiative, Anhui Medical University set up the Scholarship of ASEAN (the Association Of Southeast Asian Nations) so as to encourage more students from Southeast Asia to come for medical studies.

II Coverage

Full scholarship, which covers tuition fee, accommodation fee, insurance fee and textbook fee as well as living allowance of RMB 10000 for the first year, In the following years, students can apply for this scholarship every year.

III Eligibility

Full time international students from ASEAN countries, which include Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, must have meet the following requirements:

1. have a valid passport;

2. must be a high school graduate under the age of 28 when applying for the undergraduate programs; have a bachelor’s degree under the age of 35 when applying for the master’s programs; have a master’s degree under the age of 40 when applying for the doctoral programs;

3. have a good command of English, All the courses are taught in English. Students should provide the certificate which can prove their English proficiency.

4. Applicants holding the Chinese Government Scholarship should not be holding this scholarship.
